Chad Brinley — Vice President

Chad Brinley began his career at Brinley’s Grading at a very early age. He started as a laborer during the summer while finishing high school and eventually became an equipment operator when he began working full time in 1997. He was promoted to residential area manager overseeing Durham-Chapel Hill operations. In this position Chad managed the distribution of the rental trucks and the ordering and delivery of materials we haul for all of our customers, as well as managing the day-to-day field operations. Chad also learned the business of high end custom residential landscape design and installation.

He has since advanced his career and is currently in the position of Vice President. His responsibilities have now broadened to overseeing our estimating department and commercial operations from the project procurement phase to close out. In addition, he handles the purchasing company wide, is currently the chair of the safety committee, assists with equipment management (owned and rented) and continues to involve himself in other aspects of the business such as equipment purchasing and financing in an effort to gain business knowledge.

Chad’s position in the company affords him the ability to be involved in all areas of the business and continue to learn and grow. He believes that the key to a successful company is the ability to work with employees at all levels, one-on-one. Chad believes that a company is only as strong as its employees and here at Brinley’s we strive to create a team environment.
